A couple of folks mentioned that the blog has gone quiet for some time... Correct! Here is some reasons why (From James' "Big book of excuses - I'd love to but...")
1 - Work has been very busy - we are shipping 2008 products and so the UI effort has been very high - the down side of this has been that I have not had time at work to blog, ad when I get home one of the last things I want to do is sit at the computer and type!
2 - Maybe... just maybe... all of the stuff I found strange and interesting when I first moved over here is just normal now... weekends at the beach, sunny weather all the time, bad driving, huge food portions, great steaks etc...
3 - The novelty of 'the blog' wore off a little?
4 - I started to write up my Pakistan trip diary and publish it 'blog style' (except that I did not want it published in reverse order so I had to fake the publish dates manually - or write it backwards!) - see the Insh'alla link to read that one
Any one of those will do, but I am back and I intend to catch up a bit!
