Moving... less fun than you might expect...

So the landlord sold our apartment building and the new owners are taking it off the rental market...

Initially we were pretty pissed as we have liked living here...

However - the neighbors are getting increasingly annoying and so it will be good to move on...

However - packing boxes night after night is no fun so we will be glad to finally move next week and unpack boxes night after night which will also be no fun...

However - we will now have a much quieter 'hood, easier street parking as well as a garage (the 8am street cleaning Monday and Tuesdays hit us a few times in $50 fines and driving round and round looking for the 'right side of the street' was getting to be a drag for Anita.

So more space to live in too - more rent to pay (boo) and a slightly longer commute (1 mile so no complaints - should only take an extra 30 mins at rush hour - no - LA is not THAT bad - it is a myth - well... unless you don't know where NOT to go and when NOT to go there ;-)

So once we are again settled (about another 5 months should do it) it will be all worth it...
