So sods law came over to visit last night...
We are having much less electricity troubles than Rog and Jane in the Ukraine - but we did have a classic Californian thunderstorm that knocked out the power for a good few hours (we ain't used to no rain, man).
It was timely as we had just got our Direct TV and TiVo installed about an hour earlier, and come back from the shops with a load of food for the freezer...
Thankfully nothing spoiled - but he came to visit - just because he could...
