
Butter is more 'usable' over here...
It often comes in 'sticks' and you get two or four in a box.
Receipes often call for a 'stick' of butter - so that is simple - just chuck a full stick in - no weiging required.
Also, the stick has printede measure on the top so you can easily cut off 1Tbsp 2Tbsp etc...
I seen some UK butter doing this too, but the buter stick is new to me
