One of the guys in the pub managed to do this to a fork...
We tried to bend it back and it was impossible...
I think basic metallergy would explain it all... metal gets harder and more brittle as it is bent back and forth - I saw him bend it at least twice before the magic happened...
To be fair though - he did do and fantasic card trick later on
