For a country that is quite prepared to invade other countries left right and center at the slightest provocation, the Americans are reluctant to upset their sensitive religious underbelly by using the word 'Christmas'...
Everything is very PC here and so the words of the season are 'Happy holidays' - not 'Merry Christmas' as this would be too 'religionist'...
sigh...
Maybe that is why they have 'santa claus' and not 'father holidays' !
Anyway... I pinched the idea for the card off Joe at work so all the credit goes to his mate - not me :-)
